catering options: For parties, birthdays, weddings, and events. The Old Bakery Café can provide a range of hospitality options. When planning your event, talk to Chris about numbers, your venue, and your requirements. He can then put together a specific menu and price per head. You can have a menu to suit your budget, or choose a menu and we'll do the best price for it. Here are some examples menus with guide prices: A selection of sandwiches, can include buffet rolls or wraps, or home-made savoury scones with toppings. Fillings include: Cheese, egg, ham salad, brie and cranberry, tuna, prawn and chicken. Salad and crisps to garnish. Followed by a fresh fruit platter and home-made cakes. Depending on numbers cakes can include one of, or a selection from the following: Fruit scones with cream and jam, chocolate eclairs, American muffins or English sponges. A selection of individual or portioned savoury pastries, quiches, or pies. A green salad and a rice, pasta or potato salad. A platter of crudites with dip and selection of cold meats. A home-made bread or pizza or filled wrap or rolls. Crisps. Followed by a fruit platter and cake selection as above but also including home made tarts or cheesecakes. Hot fork buffet: £ 6.45 per head As above with pies, samosas etc. fresh from the oven, may include breaded goujons, fishcakes, hot chicken satay brochette, etc. Hot meal buffet: £ 9.95 per head A selection of serve-yourself main course meals and salads, examples including: Spaghetti carbonara, gnocchi in tomato sauce, fish or vegetable paella. Canapés only buffet: £ 4.95 per head A selection of bite-sized pastries, crostini, blinis etc. with savoury toppings, served on platters for handing round. Accompanied by bite-sized cream scones, fruit tartlets, eclairs, or fruit brochettes. Cooked and served meals and fine dining: Contact Chris to discuss private chef and sit-down catering options including three or more course meals, special occasion meals and fine dining. For small family gatherings to large banquets. Barbecues: We have a gas barbecue for outside events or can use your equipment. Menus and prices on application. Crockery, cutlery and serving staff: Good quality disposable plates and cutlery are available for buffets at an additional 60p per head (Plate, side plate or bowl, knife, fork and spoon). Crockery and glass hire can be arranged. Waiting and serving staff will be supplied as necessary. |
